Hello, my name is Tjuana Gibson I was born in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. But I grew up in Cooktown 4 hours north of Cairns. Growing up in a rural community definitely had its perks I was either outdoors fishing or adventuring the beautiful landscapes that far north Queensland has to offer.

I was introduced into the creative space at a very young age by nan Alberta Hornsby, I have a fond memory of when I was a little girl she used to run the art centre in Hopevale & I was at the art gallery everyday being my nan little shadow & I remember seeing all the old lady's & aunties sitting around the art gallery painting all day & creating the most incredible art pieces my young eyes had ever seen & that's when I realized that's what I wanted do when I got older…

Fast forward to now that I'm older I guess that dream of mine has come true because this is what I get to do in my spare time sit around & paint incredible pieces for you.
